Transformers 2, the sequel of Transformers 2007 is produced with the most advanced technologies. The movie has various characters that make it a marvelous hit. Both in part 1 and part 2, we see characters in 3 genres; Decepticons, Autobots, and Humans.

The more a character is strong and attractive, the more the movie becomes a success. We watch a movie because of its story, the way the subject is dealt with, and also because of the characters in the movie. The leading roles in Transformers 2 also make the movie even more interesting for the viewers. These leading roles are as follows, which include many new characters in Transformers 2:

Sam Witwicky

He is the protagonist and the savior of earth and humanity in the first part of the movie. In the second part, we see him pulling himself back to normal life. He is in an effort to break the shackles of protection around him by his parents and Bumblebee. Sam starts learning astronomy by attending a college at East Coast. There he gets mental flashes from Cybertronian symbols. These form the very basis of finding the root of Energeon’s presence on Earth. For that reason, the Decepticons come after to imprison him this time. In this version, he becomes the point of prime interest; attack and defense.

Mikaela Banes

Mikaela Banes is the girlfriend of Sam and plays an important role in the 1st part. She helps Sam and the Autobots with complete dedication. In the 2nd part, she will be shown working at a motorcycle workshop. As she can’t afford to attend the college with Sam, she joins this job.

Leo Spitz

This is one of the new characters. He is Sam’s roommate who has deep interests in conspiracy theories. He also has a website dedicated to the same theories. His character is also important as he accompanies Sam and his girlfriend to Egypt.

Captain William Lennox

He is one of the continuity family members. In Transformers 2007, he was one of the survivors of Qatar Air Base survivors. He fights the Decepticons right from the attack on the base until the end of Megatron.

The Autobots had leading roles in Transformer 2007 as well as in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Optimus Prime

This role is one of the most important leading roles, as he is the leader of Autobots. He is retaining his red and blue colours even in part 2. With model modification, he looks stronger and efficient than before. Peter Cullen has voiced this Autobot.

Though Bumblebee was the closest of all the Autobots to Sam in part 1, he is staying away from Sam in this version. He can’t be with Sam at the college, as being a fresher Sam is not allowed to park his car at the college. Mark Ryan is giving his voice to Bumblebee to help him speak.
