Label Ritu Kumar unveiled 'Structured Pastoral', its latest fashion collection aimed at the stylish urban Indian woman, at the Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019 in Mumbai on August 23. A zesty, zippy line inspired by the colours of pastoral and equestrian moods, its shade card is dominated by fiery red and neutral black with other bright rainbow colours. Making a major introduction into the label’s look was knitwear, which offered some interesting masculine twists to the flirtatious silhouettes and styles, according to a press release from the label.Label Ritu Kumar unveiled `Structured Pastoral`, its latest fashion collection aimed at the stylish urban Indian woman, at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019 in Mumbai on August 23.A zesty, zippy line inspired by the colours of pastoral and equestrian moods, its shade card is dominated by fiery red and neutral black with other bright rainbow colours.# The pastoral country style look was showcased in sheer dress over shorts, frilled panelled dress, pleated dress with tulle overlay, maroon lace dress, embroidered jacket with stretch pants and pleated ombré purple/black skirt with white lace yoke blouse. The equestrian inspiration of the collection will appeal to lady jockeys. Accessories that completed the pastoral look included harness, leather headbands, waist packs, fanny bags, leather Obe belts and an occasional horse whip at the waist. (DS)
