An expectant mother must take good care of herself to ensure that she gives birth to a healthy baby. Be sure that you have enough baby bottles on hand as well as nipples for the bottle if you are bottle feeding your infant. It is also important to purchase a baby bathtub. Pick up a pacifier or two at the baby store. They can come in handy as they can be very soothing for a fussy baby.

You will need diapers and lots of them! You must decide if you are going to use cloth diapers or disposables. The disposables are very convenient, but they will cost you more money. If you buy cloth diapers and wash them yourself, you will save a lot of money, but lose the convenience factor.
